Margarita Martinez is a costume designer, based in Florence, Italy. She creates historical ball gowns and for over 20 years her dresses have danced in the most magnificent ballrooms of Tuscany.
She specializes in Napoleonic & Regency attire, Victorian and 1910-1914, the years of the Titanic and Paul Poiret. Her costumes are available for hire or sale from her studio in the historical centre of Florence.
She is the founder of the Jane Austen Society Florence and organizes an internationally acclaimed Napoleonic/Jane Austen Weekend each year in the Spring with guests coming from all over the world. Passionate about historical reenactment she believes in the magic of time travel.
