On Sunday the 5th August I found an antique parasol for sale at the Arezzo Antique Market. The ivory handle has 3 flies carved on it, a bringer of good luck especially in Naples. Had fun restoring it!

This is the how I found the original parasol, with shattered silk, damaged raffia and a broken opening mechanism.
Palazzo Tucci, Lucca - June 2012
A shell pink pure silk 1812 ball dress, made especially for Beatrice for the Napoleonic Ball held at Palazzo Tucci on June 2nd 2012. Both the dress and my event were a great success! Very happy!
